Rikka Batulan is the National Conference Coordinator and Development Manager at Advancing Justice | AAJC. In her role, Rikka is responsible for the management, planning and execution of the affiliation’s Advancing Justice Conference and Leadership Summit. She is also the lead for the annual American Courage Awards Reception and other organizational fundraising events and activities.
Rikka spent the first part of her career with the National League of Cities (NLC). Most recently for the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (CFC), Rikka played major roles in securing keynote speakers representing the financial, political and energy sector while serving as the on-site lead for specialized workshops and multiple panel breakout sessions at CFC’s two signature events – the Forum and the Independent Borrowers Executive Summit (IBES). She also led the programming efforts for CFC’s three orientations whose purpose is to acclimate executives who are new to the role of chief executive officer, chief financial officer or director of their electric unit.
Rikka has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada with certifications in Marketing/Public Relations and Graphic Design/Desktop Publishing. She also speaks Tagalog, French, and Spanish.
