Vivin Qiang is the Program Coordinator of the Anti-Racial Profiling Project at Advancing Justice | AAJC. She is responsible for coordinating the civil rights project, as well as assisting the communications team in Chinese ethnic media and social media engagement.
Prior to joining Advancing Justice | AAJC, Vivin worked in China with a global environmental nonprofit organization, where she supported the program’s overall communication strategy and engaged with Chinese communities in building conservation projects across urban neighborhoods. Before attending graduate school, Vivin worked on refugee education and integration as an AmeriCorps VISTA in Nashville, Tenessee, where she managed an education advancement program for immigrant communities.
Vivin received her M.A. in Development Studies with a concentration in Migration from The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. She holds a B.A. from Eureka College in Communications with a minor in International Relations.
