Panelists of minority inclusion advocates and a U.S. Census Bureau representative talk about the challenges and opportunities of inclusion categories for different minorities and ethnicities in the 2020 Census. This program was part of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee’s annual conference.

Panelists talked about the future of the inclusion of the Arab-American community in the decennial census. They focused on the push to include the new category of Middle Eastern North African (MENA) in the 2020 census and the reasons why they believe Arab-American inclusion in the population count is so crucial for Arab-Americans.
