Asian Americans and Pacific Islander (AAPI) organizations in Northern California will receive $900,000 in grants from Kaiser Permanente
In an interview with KOIN 6, Northwest Permanente President and CEO Imelda Dacones revealed that they partnered with STOP AAPI Hate and Asian Americans Advancing Justice (AAJC) to help identify community-based organizations in the communities they serve to educate, intervene and invest in programs.
Kaiser Permanente has tapped AAJC to redistribute grant funds to community-based organizations while working with the four other independent organizations in the Advancing Justice affiliation, Spectrum News reported.
