Bre'Von Stewart

Bre’Von serves as the Human Resources Manager at Advancing Justice | AAJC. She works with the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration on Organizational Leadership and Strategic Planning, Payroll Administration and Timekeeping, Benefit Administration, Recruiting, Training and Career Development, and Fundraising, in addition to general human resources duties and responsibilities.  

With over 10 years of experience in administration and human resources, she has provided administrative support to executive level officials in office of the President for Title IX and Equal Opportunity at Prairie View A&M University, and the office of the Mayor for the city of Prairie View. She was also the Director of the Prevention and Intervention Program for Baltimore City Public Schools, and taught at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. 

Bre’Von holds two degrees from Prairie View A&M University: Bachelor of Psychology and Masters of Juvenile Justice. She also holds several titles as a crowned winner for Miss America, Miss USA, and Miss Black USA . Her platform is “It takes a village: prevention and intervention before correction." Under this platform, she mentors at-risk inner-city youth and partners with colleagues to pair the youth with internships, apprenticeships, and career-specific mentors.
