Hosted by Asian Americans Advancing Justice, the Advancing Justice Conference is the largest national conference focusing on civil and social justice issues as they affect Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Advancing Justice began the conference six years ago to provide a meeting forum where the AAPI community and our allies can strategize and mobilize to make lasting impact on the issues we care about. Stay tuned for information about the next Advancing Justice Conference. The next Advancing Justice Conference will be April 11-13, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Washington in Washington, D.C. Contact events@advancingjustice-aajc.org for questions.

The conference brings together Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders from across the U.S. to address issues facing these fast growing communities. It serves as a unique forum where stakeholders can learn from other community experts, discuss common challenges and opportunities, share best practices and find ways to work collaboratively. Conference attendees participate in two days of programming, including panel discussions, caucus sessions, skills and capacity building trainings and networking receptions.

The 2014 Advancing Justice Conference was held in Washington, D.C. on September 25-26 and drew 500 activists to the nation’s capital for two-days of programming. See a summary of the event via Storify and photos from the 2014 Advancing Justice Conference.

Advancing Justice | LA hosted the 2016 Advancing Justice Conference in Los Angeles, drawing nearly 900 Asian American and Pacific Islander attendees and participants.
