Howard Shih
Howard comes to Advancing Justice | AAJC with over 19 years of experience in policy research on behalf of Asian Americans. He was previously at AAPI Data, where he advocated on behalf of the Asian American community on issues related to data equity, disaggregation, and access. Prior to that, he worked at the Asian American Federation in New York, where he analyzed available public data sources and collected qualitative data on Asian communities, worked to increase participation in the 2010 and 2020 censuses, and advocated on behalf of member agencies for resources and policies that address the growing needs of the Asian American population. He has a Master of Science in Engineering and Public Policy and looks forward to advancing our strategic advocacy goals through quantitative research.
