WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week, Asian Americans Advancing Justice – AAJC finalized the organization’s first collective bargaining agreement (CBA).

The agreement includes meaningful investments in employee compensation and benefits, expanded leave and wellness provisions, and clearer pathways for professional development and advancement.

Yang, president and executive director at Asian Americans Advancing Justice – AAJC (Advancing Justice – AAJC) said: “We are proud to announce the ratification of our first collective bargaining agreement. This historic agreement, which comes during the organization’s 35th anniversary, is a reflection of our institutional commitment to our employees and the values we work on every day. Labor rights are civil rights, and we are proud to see that our work is reflected in this agreement.  I am grateful to our leadership team, board and staff who made this agreement possible through hard work during the negotiation process. This agreement will help Advancing Justice – AAJC better serve the communities we represent and strengthen the work we do to create a more just America for all.”
